Dr. Shawon Rahman is the president and organizer of the Big Island, Hawaii Muslim Community. He manages the Big Island (Island of Hawaii) Muslim community and represents the Muslim Community in the Interfaith Community in Action (http://ifHawaii.org/ ) Hawaii. Dr. Rahman is very active in the interfaith community and has volunteered & developed the Interfaith Website.
Professionally, Dr. Shawon Rahman is a Professor of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Hawaii, USA. He has earned his BS degree in Chemical Engineering, MS in Computer Science, and Ph.D. in Software engineering.
